Tiny Tales to Continue in the Financial Times

Date Published: 9th June 2020

Every week from March until the end of May, a Tiny Tales story strip – yes we are still struggling with that description, it is not flash fiction, it is not really strip fiction, it is not a cartoon.. it’s a Tiny Tale! – has been published on the back page of Life & Arts in the Weekend edition of the Financial Times. We have had great reader feedback and the lovely team at the FT have extended the run until the end of July. Catch them every week – written by Alexander McCall Smith and illustrated by his long time friend and collaborator – Iain McIntosh.

‘I loved the Tiny Tales tasters that ran in the Financial Times.  Such pointed skewers, and wonderfully drawn: haiku-like.   Bound to be a runaway success.   What a super pair, author McCallSmith and illustrator McIntosh.  Look at the Putin cat-face!  And the wry comments about saints who have to deal with eternity.  Just brilliant!’ – Reader comment

‘Hilarious short stories!‘ – Reader comment
