Are you a midwife? Are you a stitcher? Are you interested in the arts and in embroidery? If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the above then this event is for you.

Artist and great friend of Alexander McCall Smith, Dr Andrew Crummy MBE will present a FREE talk on the Midwifery Tapestry Panel at Edinburgh Napier University on 30 April at 4.00pm. All welcome but please register. Scan the QR code below.

Andrew Crummy is the artist who designed the panels in The Great Tapestry of Scotland, a magnificent artwork instigated by Alexander McCall Smith. Following that project, Andrew was commissioned to design a panel for the Royal Collage of Midwives. Andrew will talk about this panel and the work of those involved in the creation of their panel on International Day of the Midwife, 2024 (30 April).
