With lockdown a reality once again in many parts of the UK, readers are looking online to buy books. We are delighted to share the news that an Alexander McCall Smith page is now live on the new Uk Bookshop org site, offering all of the books in series, the stand alone novels and short story collections, poetry, non-fiction and children’s books. A percentage of every sale goes to participating UK independent bookshops.

Have a browse right here.

But don’t forget our wonderful bricks and mortar bookshops! While some may have to close their doors during this difficult period, most are available by phone or online with advice and suggestions and to purchase. And as soon as the doors are open (and for those who never close), do pop in and say hello.

Let’s all make this a book-shopping Christmas and help our bookseller friends wherever they are.
