Andrew Crummy, the artist behind The Great Tapestry of Scotland, today received his MBE from His Majesty King Charles at The Palace of Holyrood in Edinburgh. Andrew was awarded the honour for his services to art and cultural heritage in Scotland. He was able to wear the MBE when he met King Charles again the following day at a Royal visit by the King and Queen to The Great Tapestry of Scotland Gallery in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders.
