Alexander McCall Smith is to open the Mesthriller Festival Venice. You can watch Alexander’s event on 8 December at 6pm (Italian Time) via the link below. Alexander will be speaking in English.

For full details of this online festival, click here to visit the Mesthriller Festival, Venice website.

We particularly like their invitation to readers:

‘Watch the video presentations of the most beloved Italian and international writers and writers of crime, noir and thrillers! Put on a nice evening dress and watch the Première with us or enjoy their presentations without stress, in pajamas, whenever you want. Every day, from 8 to 19 December 2020, you will find new videos on this page and on our YouTube channel. Good watching!’

p.s. we hope you like the tiny Christmas gondola on this page – all the way from Venice.
